A convicted federal drug trafficker who received an early release through a presidential grant of clemency is back behind bars in Polk County. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office says undercover detectives purchased fentanyl and MDMA from the Winter Haven man before he allegedly tried to broker a multi-kilogram cocaine deal. Sheriff Grady Judd didn’t hold back, saying the suspect “should have still been in federal prison.”
