Early this morning, April 19, 2024, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office found a vehicle belonging to Ms. Claudia Pena, who had previously been reported as missing to the Kissimmee Police Department. Shortly after locating the vehicle, the remains of two individuals were found in a nearby wooded area. Some of the clothing on the remains found in the wooded area are consistent with the clothing of the missing person, Ms. Claudia Pena. However, at this time, the remains have not been positively identified, and the Medical Examiner’s office is still working to determine an identification. This appears to be an isolated incident with no outstanding threats to the public.
