Currently members of the Polk County Fire Rescue & The Polk County Sheriff’s Office are on scene of a crash involving a semi tractor at the intersection of Hatchineha Rd. & H.L. Smith Rd in rural Haines City.
According to reports the crash occurred at 2:17 pm and multiple emergency vehicles are on scene. We currently do not have all the details, but the semi tractor-trailer has overturned. A leak is occurring and spilling diesel fuel into a water source so that is a concern and could delay opening the roadway.
