Lake Wales, Florida- The Polk County Sheriff’s Office and the Polk County Fire Rescue are currently on scene of an accident with injuries on Hwy 27 & Jackson St. in South Lake Wales. According to reports the accident occurred at 5:02pm.
It appears the accident was between a semi-tractor trailer and a white sprinter van.
We currently don’t have specifics on injuries, but we can confirm at least one individual is currently being transported for treatment.
