The Polk County Sheriffs Office Robbery detectives are seeking information about an armed business robbery that occurred at a Circle K store in Winter Haven.
Around 12:10 a.m. (ten minutes after midnight) on Thursday, August 25, 2016, an unknown Hispanic male suspect went into the store, located at 1108 Spirit Lake Road, and pointed a large knife at the clerks, demanding money from the register.
After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5’6″ – 5’8″ tall, stocky, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants with white stripes on the sides, boots, a black ball cap, and orange material covering his face. He was armed with a long bladed knife.
