Lakeland, Florida – The Florida Highway Patrol is reporting that a Greensboro, NC. man has been seriously injured in a crash on Interstate 4 in Lakeland. According to the FHP two semi-tractor trailers and a pickup were traveling westbound on Interstate 4 near Milepost 34. The pickup was stopped for other traffic and the semi behind it was slowing for the same congestion. The semi behind it failed to slow or stop and collided with the rear of semi in front of it. The impact caused that semi to continue forward and collide with the rear of the pickup. The crash closed portions of westbound SR-400 until 10:30 AM.
