Winter Haven, Florida – Winter Haven Police Detectives are investigating a fight that occurred at Nate’s Anchor Bar injuring four people.
On 7-14-17 at approximately 1:32 a.m., police responded to a fight that was in progress at Nate’s Anchor Bar (239 3rd St SW, Winter Haven) between a group of patrons. When officers arrived they found four people injured, but the suspects had already left the scene.
One person was injured from a beer bottle being broken over his head. Two others were injured from stab wounds, one to the abdomen and the other to the chest area just under his arm. The fourth victim had cuts on his arm.
The four men injured are being treated at local hospitals and are expected to recover from their non-life-threatening injuries. Detectives continue to investigate the incident and are conducting interviews with the victims and witnesses. This investigation is early on and when additional information becomes available, it will be released.
