Haines City, Florida – The Haines City Police Department is currently investigating a shooting situation that occurred tonight in Haines City. According to the public information officer, Jim Gouvellis, an officer was shot. It’s believed that the officer was shot in the leg by their holstered weapon while struggling with a suspect.
