Amber Alert Issued For Missing Immokalee Girl
A statewide Amber Alert has been issued for a child missing from Collier County, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement announced early Monday. The child, Denise Hernandez, 2, was last seen along Wells Street in Immokalee, authorities said. Immokalee is a small agricultural town about 100 miles northwest of Fort Lauderdale. Denise is described as about 3 feet tall, weighing about 40 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white pajama gown with multi-colored stripes. Polk Sheriffs Statement Frostproof, Florida – Polk County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating the death of a Polk County Jail inmate that occurred last evening, Friday, December 21, 2012. Preliminary information so far is as follows: 53-year-old Stephen Harry Grimm, DOB 8/17/1959, whose most recent address was 3109 Ellis Avenue in Eaton Park, was arrested by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on October 5, 2012, for Violation of Probation (original charge: DUI). Victim In Morning Shooting Identified
Lake Wales, Florida – Lake Wales Police Department has confirmed the victim in the shooting is William E. Macauley, DOB: 02/27/74. The victim was visiting his mother’s house, after coming home from work, at 423 Lakeside Drive. According to police the shooting took place outside the victims mother’s home. It appears that the victim was killed by 12 gauge shotgun blast.
