Frostproof Residents Come Home & Find 3 Men Breaking Into Their House
Frostproof, Florida – At approximately 10:41 am Friday, November 9, 2012, Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to 860 Otto Polk Road, Frostproof, after receiving a call regarding a possible Burglary in progress. Responding deputies learned the residents arrived home and discovered the suspects in the process of committing the Burglary.
Beefs Donating 10% of Sales Tonight to District 7 Champs
Lake Wales, Florida – The Frostproof 12 and under All-Star baseball team, District 7 Champions, will benefit from sales at Beef O’Brady’s tonight. From 4-9 pm today Beef’s will donate 10% of all sales to the team. Come out and support local kids preparing to go to state championships. Additional fundraisers are scheduled for this weekend. By Carl Fish Frostproof, Florida – Mr. Michael Wayne Byrd of Frostproof passed away Friday, March 18, 2011 in Frostproof due to a work related accident. Michael was 23 years old when he died. Even though Michael died over a year ago friends and family are having a benefit car wash for his wife and children. Insurance money only pays a set amount for funeral benefits and unfortunately cost were beyond that amount.
