Winter Haven, Florida – Around 10:20 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2013, a witness reported that a black Polaris ATV traveling westbound on Bomber Road passed them going at a high rate of speed, just west of Gerber Dairy Road in Winter Haven. According to the witness, the ATV did not have any lights activated. Lake Wales, Florida – At approximately 3:30 pm, Tuesday, April 26th, 55-year-old Diane Shelton, DOB 3/7/1956, Lake Davie Drive, WH, was traveling east bound on Chalet Suzanne Road in a 2008 Black Ford F150. At the same time, several vehicles were stopped at the traffic signal at the intersection at Chalet Suzanne and Scenic Highway. It appears as though Shelton never made an effort to break for the cars stopped ahead of her and crashed into an older model Thunderbird, which then crashed into a 2005 Toyota Corolla, which then crashed into our PCSO Animal Control vehicle. Lake Wales, Florida – At approximately 10:28 pm, Saturday, April 17, 2011, 26-year-old Phillip Craig Durden, DOB 03/26/1985, 209 Arianna Avenue, Auburndale, was traveling east on Highway 60 in Lake Wales, in the west bound lanes, in a white, 2002, Ford F-150 pulling a trailer. It is unknown why Durden was in the wrong lane of travel.
