Babson Park, Florida -  At approximately 12:10 pm, the PCSO was contacted about a possible shooting at a residence on Sultenfuss Road. Upon their arrival, deputies learned two subjects had been arguing at the residence and ultimately one individual was shot.  The victim was transported to an area hospital to be treated for injuries sustained. 

The investigation is on-going.

Winter Haven, Florida – A traffic stop on Ave. G, SW in Winter Haven resulted in the arrest of a Poinciana man who had more than 800 counterfeit DVDs of movies in the trunk of the vehicle.

On 3-2-13 at approximately 8:20 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle seen traveling the roadway without lights. The driver, Robert Lee Jackson (DOB 7-22-87, 8 Perch St., Poinciana, FL) allegedly was knowingly driving with a suspended license. When officers searched the vehicle, they found more than 800 counterfeit DVDs of movies, including those currently being show in theaters.

All totaled, there were multiple copies of 200 movie titles, which included Zero Dark Thirty, Lincoln, Identity Theft, Argo and Snitch just to name a few.

Jackson was transported to the Polk County Jail and charged with Counterfeit of Private Labels (F-3) and Driving While License Suspended (M-2).

Jackson has a long criminal history, which includes time in a Florida State Prison for counterfeiting movies/music. Jackson has also been arrested for multiple counts of drug possession, armed robbery, larceny, domestic battery, resisting arrest and driving while license suspended.

Angel Manuel Campos

Lake Wales, Florida -According to reports  Lake Wales Police Department  a man was arrested Saturday night for DUI follow a traffic crash. 26 Year Old Angel Manuel Campos, DOB: 1-27-1986, was arrested and is accused of driving under the influence.

According to reports Campos failed two breathalyzer tests. He registered a .184 and .188. The legal limit in Florida is .08 or greater.

Lakeland, Florida – Lakeland Police responded to Metro PCS, 2826 Lakeland Highlands Road, on April 15, 2011, at approximately noon after a report of an armed robbery.  Suspects had robbed the business and left with an undisclosed amount of cash and property driving a two door purple Grand Am with tinted windows.

Officers located the suspect vehicle in the Crystal Grove area, but the vehicle was able to evade police.  A few minutes later, officers located the vehicle again parked and unoccupied at 1104 S Rd 98 at Lake Bonny Apartments.   Officers utilized a K9 that tracked from the abandoned vehicle to the front door of an apartment in the complex.  Officers identified the vehicle as having been driven by Dominique Scott, and the apartment the K9 tracked to as Scott’s residence.  A handgun was located concealed in a bed in Scott’s bedroom.

Detectives were able to develop leads to identify associates of Scott’s and possible additional suspects of the robbery.

As the investigation continued, detectives learned that Dominique Scott (DOB:  6/13/87, 1104 S Rd 98 #B23)  had committed the robbery along with Anthony Grimsley (DOB: 12/24/89, 1910 E Gachet Blvd).  Grimsley had entered the business and posed as a cellular phone customer.  Grimsley sent text messages to Scott giving him information from inside the business. Scott then entered and robbed the business as well as individuals inside the business.  One victim was a business employee, the other a customer with a two year old child.

Detectives later searched the residence of Anthony Grimsley and found property that had been taken from a victim during the robbery and clothing worn by one of the suspects during the commission of the robbery.

Dominique Scott was arrested for Armed Robbery with a Firearm (F1), Aggravated Assault (3 Counts) (F3), Grand Theft (F3).  Anthony Grimsley was arrested for Armed Robbery with a Firearm (F1).
