Lake Wales, Florida – Lake Wales Care Center is looking for campers to attend our 27th annual Stay-at-Home Work Camps this summer. Camp 1 is set for June 24th- 30th and is for all students that have completed 9th – 12th grades. Camp 2 is scheduled for July 24th – 27th and is for students that have completed 6th – 8th grades. Camp 3 is set for August 5th – 9th and is for students that have completed 8th – 12th grades. This years camp theme is “Who’s Your Neighbor?” and comes from Luke 10: 25-37. Registration forms can be picked up at Lake Wales Care Center at 140 E Park Ave., or printed from our website – www.lakewalescarecenter.org – The students and leaders perform various home repair projects for homeowners in our community who cannot have the work done otherwise due to physical or financial limitations.

The goals of the camp are to help the campers with personal and spiritual growth, heighten their awareness of community needs and prepare them for continued community service.
