Frostproof Couple Killed In Early Morning Crash Friday
Madison County, Florida – A couple from Frostproof were killed in an a crash that occurred Friday morning, April 27th, around 3:12am. A single vehicle accident took the lives of Felicitas Valdez, 50, and Manuel Valdez, 56. The accident occurred on Interstate 10, just east of the US 221 exit., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
A 1997 Chevrolet Suburban was traveling eastbound on Interstate 10 east of the US 221 exit. For no apparent reason, the vehicle veered off of the roadway onto the south shoulder rotating clockwise. While rotating on the south shoulder, the vehicle overturned several times and then came to rest upright in the tree line on the south shoulder.
The driver, Hector Garcia, 67, is listed in critical condition at TMH, while the two passengers, Felicitas Valdez, 50, and Manuel Valdez, 56, were pronounced dead on the scene.
Seatbelt usage for the passengers is pending further investigation.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office. Madison County EMS, Madison County Fire Department, and the Greenville Volunteer Fire Department assisted the Florida Highway Patrol at this crash scene.
According to report charges are pending.

they had came down for my uncles funeral to edinburg texas they both stayed at my house for a week and the morning they left she woke me up and kissed me on the cheek and these were her worls ” Te quiero muncho mijo , cuida a tu masmi y portate vien . you all cant imagine how hard is too loose 4 loved ones in less that twoo weeks . this is such a tragedy they were such amazing people so nice and kind <3
