Missing: Michael Castrillon Believed To Be Endangered
The Lake Alfred Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 30-year-old man. Officers say Michael Castrillon, who hasn’t been taking his psychiatric medication, was last seen on April 12 about 10:00AM at his residence in Lake Alfred. Castrillon is 5-feet, 8-inches tall and weighs 185 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo of the sun on his left elbow. Family members advised that he walks aimlessly when not taking his medication. Anyone with information is asked to call Officer Juan Lopez or Sgt. Jennifer Gillett at 863-291-5200.
Wanted: Attempted Murder Suspect Randall Scott Miller
Auburndale, Florida – According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office 44-year-old Randall Scott Miller (4/9/1969) is wanted for allegedly shooting his girlfriend. According to reports Miller shot his 52-year-old girlfriend Micki Pickern three times last evening (April 16, 2013) around 7:30 p.m. in the area of Lake Van Road and CCR 559 in Auburndale. The victim was shot once in the back of the head, once in the side of the head, and once in the face. She miraculously survived and is in stable condition at a local hospital. Lake Wales, Florida – Larry Joe Futrill, a 67 year old Lake Wales resident, has an active arrest warrant for 3 counts of sexual battery on a juvenile victim. Detective Mary Jerome obtained the arrest warrant yesterday from the State Attorney’s Office after presenting evidence and testimony regarding an ongoing investigation.Futrill is also a person of interest and wanted for questioning in the December 19, 2012 homicide of William Macauley. Lake Alfred, Florida – Around 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2012, a 2004 white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck being driven by 39-year-old Trevor Werner of 295 Echo Drive in Lake Alfred was heading east on US Hwy 92 approaching Lynchburg Road when, for unknown reasons, it left the eastbound lanes and entered into the westbound lanes. The truck struck a 2008 silver Honda CRV SUV that was heading westbound on US Hwy 92, being driven by 44-year-old Nivea Ramos of 4490 Colony Road in Mulberry.
