Polk County, Fla. (June 18, 2014) – The state of Florida leads the country in drowning deaths of children ages one to four and Polk County has averaged nearly three per year for the last 10 years. Haines City, Florida – Around 5:20 p.m., the driver of a 1994 pink Harley-Davidson motorcycle, 52-year-old Georgene Rabren of 75th Street West in Bradenton, failed to negotiate a turn on the southbound off-ramp from U.S. Hwy 27 to U.S. Hwy 192 in Haines City and ran off the roadway.
