Haines City, Florida – On Thursday, November 1, 2012, at approximately 7:05 am. Haines City Police Officers responded to 701 Avenue C, Haines City, to assist the Haines City Fire Department at the scene of a residential house fire. Details of the investigation are as follows:  The residence is being considered a total loss due to the fire. Emergency Road Closure In Haines City

Haines City, Florida – The City of Haines City will close Polk City Road at Carlisle Street beginning Friday, Sept. 28, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. for emergency sewer line and road repairs. The roadway collapsed due to a sewer line break and emergency repairs are required. Polk County Transportation Division estimates that the road will be closed until Friday, Oct. 5, 2012. Haines City, Florida – 41-year-old Trina Rocker, DOB 02/08/1971, Sequoyah Drive, Haines City, was arrested Monday, September 25, 2012, and charged with a 5 counts of Unlawful Sex with a Minor after detectives learned Rocker had engaged in a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student from the Landmark Christian High School.  Rocker listed told detectives she was the secretary for Landmark Christian High School located in Haines City.
