      Winter Haven, Florida – Two CNAs from Palm Gardens Nursing Home have been arrested and charged with battery of an elderly person after they are captured on video tormenting and hitting a 76 year-old Alzheimer’s patient. On 10-29-14, police arrested 28 year-old Yashika Zenobiaha Jones (DOB 11-6-85, 2401 2nd St., Winter Haven) and 35 year-old Rose Dorlean Blaise (DOB 3-23-79, 1013 Ave. M, NE, Winter Haven) after an investigation uncovered the abuse on three separate occasions in October.     Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing and endangered elderly adult. 73-year-old Norman Henry Cole, was last seen at between the hours of 11:30 pm, Wednesday, October 29, 2014 and 2:30 am, Thursday, October 30, 2014, at his home located on Stanley Avenue in Frostproof. Cole, who suffers from Alzheimer’s, was reported missing by his wife.  He is believed to be driving a black, 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan with a Florida license tag of 913-NCR. Two Juveniles Arrested In Lake Wales Business Burglaries

  Lake Wales, Florida – On Thursday evening and Friday morning two Lake Wales juveniles allegedly robbed two local businesses. On Thursday, October 23rd Lake Wales Police Officers responed to 4 Scenic Hwy (Sunoco gas station in reference to an alarm call.  Dispatch advised the alarm showed front glass breakage. Officers responded and observed the front window was shattered.  Officers held perimeter, PCSO air responded, Officer Coppedge with K9 Fly and Officer Joyner conducted a K9 track. The track led officers to the area of Scenic Hwy S and Johnson Ave at which time the track ended.
