Children at last year’s Babson Park Fall Carnival line up for the costume parade.
LAKE WALES – Calling all super heroes, storybook princesses, and scary creatures.
It’s time to dust off your old costumes and start creating new ones for the annual PTA Fall Carnival at Dale R. Fair Babson Park Elementary School on Saturday, Oct. 17.
This year’s community-wide event will begin promptly at 1 p.m. with the annual costume parade. Prizes will be awarded in various categories, including scariest, cutest and most original.
Throughout the afternoon, the carnival will include cake walks, a dunk tank, moon walk, and lots of games with prizes. Tickets for games and activities can be purchased at the Carnival; tickets will be four for $1. The Babson Park PTA also will be selling food including hamburgers, hotdogs, pizza, sno cones, cotton candy and a variety of drinks.
The carnival, which is open to the general public, is expected to end at 5 p.m.
