SUSPECT SOUGHT IN CVS ROBBERY
Polk County Sheriff’s Robbery detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying a robbery suspect who robbed the CVS Pharmacy located at 2610 US Hwy 92 East in Lakeland.
At 2:44 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, the suspect, seen here in video surveillance photos, approached the technician at the pharmacy counter and told her he was there to pick up a prescription. The suspect then walked behind the counter and held a knife up to the clerk and demanded that she give him prescription pills. The suspect then walked over to the pharmacist and demanded the same. After taking an undisclosed amount of pills, the suspect fled the scene.
The suspect is described as a white male, 6’ tall, 200-220 lbs., wearing a white sleeveless T-shirt with a black square design on the front, a tan ballcap with a black and white design on the front, blue pants, white sneakers, and he has a tattoo that encircles his upper right bicep.
The suspect fled the scene in a black 4-door sedan. He was last seen heading north on Combee Road.
